I kind of dropped the ball with the "looks" part the past few "life & looks" lately so I tried to do a little bit better this time. It's been a while since I've done one of these and there's plenty to share so let's just jump right into it…
My first fall manicure/pedicure of the season was long overdo (all this housewife, cleaning and stuff I always reck my nails so quickly so I've gotten into the habit of just not getting them done) but as much as I love the bright summer colors, I just became obsessed again with the fall ones.
Date night! With the busy end of summer/start to fall we got out of our routine with weekly nights out but now that we've found time again we enjoy our quick nights out. Our favorite italian restaurant has a location right near our house that we recently just tried for the first time and fell in love.
My secretary doing her thing at the office. I always get a good laugh out of the places she picks to hide out.
One of our favorite restaurant right in the center of town is closing at the end of the month so we're trying to get as many favorite meals in there as possible. A group went last week and we're going with the whole family next week for another one.
With the weather a few degrees cooler, we've been getting our fair share of walks in - my favorite form of exercise and Stella pup loves it too.
We liked the new Fellini's so much the week before that we went the following week for date night. One of Derek's goals for the year is to become regulars somewhere - I think we've found our place.
A little family play time…
One of my favorite things is shopping dates with my mom. New things, girl time, lunch out - it's all the best. We usually walk away with something matching too - we did it again this day.
Our final Phillies game of the most terrible season against Derek's Met's no less (I can't wait for the Mets to be done in the playoffs soon… I dislike them greatly)
For two of our most recent games, Stella and I rode up with my parents and Nash to help with the tailgate stuff and Derek, my brother and other guests trickled in later on. This time both dogs were loving on me at once.
A couple photos from State College that got "lost" - I guess it's hard to keep track when there are so many home games in a row. Afternoon drinks amongst the college life downtown and a sunset before entering the game.
A lot of family was in town in early September and my cousin and I showed up in identical outfits to one of the dinners.
In Stella's life lately news - she's loving her new bed, the fall season and her new fall blanket (she's lucky her mom likes neutrals around the house because it's now her new "all the time" blanket)
