Long time, no talk. We had a great time in Charleston/Kiawah Island for our anniversary and came back last week to jump right into regular life and a very busy week. I'm going all the way back to Labor Day weekend for our first home game of the season - a win over Kent State (since then we had a heartbreaking loss in the final seconds to Pitt and a nice win this past weekend over Temple).
It was a great day weather wise, a 3:30 start and we had some friends in town to kick off the season. For our first tailgate we had plenty of apps - a cheese platter & spreads, buffalo chicken dip, Mexican dip, some ranch dip with potato chips. For the main course we went with Swedish meatball sliders, prosciutto/mozzarella/melon skewers and greek pasta salad. Game day pretzels and wedding cake (to kick off our anniversary) were the desserts.
All the new recipes will be coming soon. We won't be up in Happy Valley until October (which will be here before we know it) and already looking forward to our next tailgate...

Happy footballing!! I've had about ten heart attacks watching all of our games this season. We've managed to pull off three wins, but goodness gracious, were they all nail biters!
