Spring Happenings

We had the best time celebrating Easter yesterday and I have way too many photos to share in a few days.  While Tatum doesn't "get it" he was much more active than Christmas, enjoyed picking his toys out of his Easter basket, "hunting" for eggs and listening to the music in church.

It doesn't feel like spring around here but we certainly have been getting out more recently and having fun.  Over the weekend it was sunny and in the 50's so we'll take it - I thought the snow was *finally* behind us... and now were getting a little bit this morning.

Last weekend we got Easter week underway with a hayride to "Bunnyland" at a local farm & Tatum met the Easter bunny for the first time.  Unlike Santa, he was awake... until the hayride back when he fell asleep.  It was a cute outing and I look forward to making this a new tradition.

We haven't been going to church much lately because of Tatum but we finally made it back for Palm Sunday - that's always one of my favorite weeks.

We made a little Easter craft to put in a few cards as well as his baby book - much easier than using paint like we did for Valentine's Day.

Holiday themed cookies - I had the time to do some baking for Easter Eve making two kinds and then cheating with some cupcakes and peeps.

On Easter Eve we went to brunch and an egg hunt at the country club - Tatum picked a few eggs and then gave them to his older friends afterwards.

& of course... dyeing Easter eggs!
